Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam congratulates Asif Ali Zardari on his election as President of Pakistan for the second time

ISLAMABAD, March 09 (SABAH): Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam has congratulated Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari on his election as President of Pakistan for the second time.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam has congratulated Asif Ali Zardari on his elected as the President of Pakistan.

“I would like to express my sincere congratulations on the election of H.E. Asif Ali Zardari, as the 14th President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He reminds us of the glorious and golden days of the relations between the two brotherly, friendly and neighboring countries of Iran and Pakistan. Wishing for a boost in the all-out relations and ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan during his tenure” the Iranian Ambassador said in the statement.

The Iranian ambassador has also attached the photos of late prime minister of Pakistan Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and newly elected president Asif Ali Zardari along with the statement.
