Int’l powers must play their part to stop massacre of unarmed Palestinians: Imam-e-Kaaba Dr. Salih bin Abdullah al Humaid
ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (SABAH): Imam-e-Kaaba Dr. Salih bin Abdullah al Humaid has said that massacre of a human being is forbidden. He said massacre of Muslims in Gaza is underway. He said that international powers must play their part to stop massacre of unarmed Palestinians while keeping in mind sanctity of human lives.
Imam-e-Kaaba Dr. Salih bin Abdullah al Humaid expressed these views while addressing an international conference on the topic of protection of human life in the light of Sharia and law held at the International Islamic University, Islamabad.
Addressing the conference at Faisal Mosque Campus, he said that massacre of people in Gaza is a blackest period of human history. In Islam, he said that the sanctity of human life has been given special significance. He said that Almighty Allah gave special importance to human life and added he who kills a human life without any reason, he has been warned of hell.
He said he appreciates International University which organized this conference on the most important topic. He stressed upon educational and research institutions to cooperation with one another. He also said that Pakistanis are loving people and Pakistan gives importance to hospitality.
Imam-e-Kaaba Dr. Salih bin Abdullah al Humaid while standing on Pakistani soil, gave a strong message to Israel that international forces should protect the sanctity of human lives and stop crimes in Gaza.
“Muslims are being massacred in the name of human rights in Gaza. Massacre of innocent people in Gaza is the blackest visit in human history,” he said. He said the international powers must play their part to stop massacre of unarmed Palestinians. May Allah punish the wrongdoers with the most severe punishment,” he added.
Imam-e-Kaaba Dr. Salih bin Abdullah al Humaid arrived in Islamabad for a six-day visit on the other day with the primary objective of strengthening ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He will be leading the Friday prayer at the iconic Faisal Mosque.
Imam-e-Kaaba has a series of scheduled meetings with key figures, including the President, Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, and other high-ranking officials. This emphasises the diplomatic significance attached to his visit.
Meanwhile, interim education minister Madad Ali Sindh held a meeting with Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid. The minister said: “Because of the holy cities of Medina and Makkah, Pakistan is having a great love and devotion for Saudi Arabia”.
“Reaching Pakistan is like visiting our own house. They want to see Pakistan as the state of Medina,” Imam-e-Kaaba added.
