Inflation has deprived the masses of roof, clothes & two times meals: Sirajul Haq

LOWER DIR, Sep 17 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that inflation has deprived the masses of roof, clothes and two times meals. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and caretaker government are on the same page regarding the slavery of International Monetary Fund (IMF). He said that the incompetence of all political parities has come in front of the masses; Jamaat-e-Islami is inevitable for durable progress in Pakistan. He said that now keeping mum is a death, adding that masses have to come out of their houses for the right.

This was stated by Emir JI Pakistan Sirajul Haq while addressing the Ulema Convention at Timergara in Lower Dir on Sunday. On the occasion, District Emir JI Aizazul Mulk Afkari, President Ittehadul Ulema Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Maulana Asadullah and Mufti Imtiaz Marwat were also present on the occasion.

Sirajul Haq said that against excessive increase in petrol and electricity prices and increasing inflation the sit-in will be staged outside the Governor House in Peshawar from today (Monday). Sirajul Haq clarified that JI will continue protests till the decrease in inflation, adding that wheel jam strike will also be announced.

Sirajul Haq appealed the Ulema to play their role for promotion of peace and brotherhood in the country. He said that in second phase on 21st September in Lahore, on 24th September in Quetta and on 6th October in Karachi, the sit-ins will be staged outside the Governor Houses against excessive increase in electricity and petrol prices and fatal inflation. He said that the government will be forced to give relief to the masses. He said that the JI has started the struggle against the current system and this struggle will be continued forcefully. Sirajul Haq thanked the masses for observing successful countrywide shutter down strike on 2nd September on the call of JI.

Sirajul Haq said that $400 million were recovered from the basement of one ruler, Rs 4 billion were recovered from the house of one minister of Sindh, adding that Rs 680 million were recovered from the watertank of one secretary, adding that these people are eating the right of the masses, who will carryout their accountability. He said that animals of these people live under air conditioners but the masses have no bread to eat. He said that the NAB courts or other institutions have failed to carryout their accountability, adding that JI will carryout the accountability of these people after coming into power. He said that the masses should carryout the accountability of already tested tyrant landlords and corrupt capitalists through the power of their vote, adding that further testing them is tantamount to handover the upcoming generations in slavery, adding that the nation should not accept the salivary of colonialism and IMF and should support JI for the establishment of the Islamic system.
