Indian court awarded life imprisonment sentence to Muhammad Yasin Malik on concocted charges: Farooq Rehmani

ISLAMABAD, May 26 (SABAH): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir has said that it is most awfully partisan and prejudiced that an Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Delhi pronounced life imprisonment sentence to Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik on concocted charges after having thwarted his every road to defense and ignoring his statement before the court by the NIA , a notorious Indian investigating agency to implicate Kashmiris in fake and fabricated cases.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ&K said that it is totally unacceptable.

Muhammad Farooq Rehman said that we strongly denounce the judgment and call upon Pakistan to knock doors of United Nations and HRC and concerned institutions for revocation and repeal of the life sentence against Muhammad Yasin Malik and release him and other detainees from jails.
