In solidarity with flood affected people of Pak, central ceremony at GHQ to commemorate Defence & Martyrs Day postponed: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI, August 31 (SABAH):  Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that in solidarity with the flood affected people of Pakistan, central ceremony at General Headquarters (GHQ) to commemorate Defence and Martyrs Day on 6 September has been postponed.

In a statement issued on twitter on Wednesday, DG ISPR said that Pakistan Armed Forces shall continue serving our brothers and sisters struck by unprecedented floods.

“In solidarity with the flood affected people of Pakistan, central ceremony at GHQ to commemorate Defence & Martyrs Day on 6 September has been postponed. Pakistan Armed Forces shall continue serving our brothers and sisters struck by unprecedented floods” DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar tweeted.
