In order to facilitate voters on poling day, ECP completes poling schemes for the up-coming election in country scheduled on Feb 8, 2024
ISLAMABAD, Feb 04 (SABAH): In order to facilitate the voters on the poling day, Election Commission of Pakistan has completed the poling schemes for the up-coming election in the country scheduled on February 8, 2024.
According to the data released here on Sunday, a total of 90,675 polling stations to be set up where-by 2,76,398 polling booths to be established for facilitating voters on the election day.
Some 22,352 polling stations to be set up in the Punjab and that would be include 1,49, 434 poling boots for the voters. Some 14,556 polling stations to facilitate poling for male voters and 14,036 female voters and there would be 79,023 polling booths for male and 70,411 booths for female voters of the province.
Sindh province to have 10,250 polling stations and 65,005 poling boots on the election day. Some 4443 polling stations would be set up for the male and these to have 34,160 poling boots. Female voters to be facilitated on 4313 polling stations which would have 30,845 polling booths on the election day.
Election Commission has decided to establish 6601 polling stations and 47,077 polling booths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to facilitate the voters. Province to have 4810 polling stations and 26,147 polling booths for male voters. Similarly, some 4286 polling stations and 20,930 polling booths for female voters on the election day.
ECP has plans to establish 2200 polling stations and 14,882 polling on the election day in the province of Baluchistan. 1511 polling stations and 8222 polling booths to facilitate male voters and 1317 polling stations and 6660 polling booths for female voters to facilitate them cast their votes on February 8, 2024.
