Imran Khan’s call for civil disobedience is absurd, will fail: Attaullah Tarar

LAHORE, Dec 8 (SABAH): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar Advocate has said that PTI founder Imran Khan’s call for civil disobedience is absurd and his call for civil disobedience will fail. He said the PTI wants chaos in the country which would never be allowed, adding wherever it happens, we will stand in front of it.

Addressing the Christmas function at FGA Church in Lahore, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar said that we will celebrate the joy of Christmas together with you.

He added, “This brother of yours stands by you in every joy and sorrow. Protecting the rights of minorities is more important to me, we will celebrate Christmas to the full, stand together in every joy and sorrow of the Christian community.”

He said the Christian community produced the best fighter pilots in the world, adding all communities are playing a role for this country. He said that we should raise our voice against oppression, violence and hatred, adding Pakistan is a great blessing of Allah, whatever blessings we get those due to this country. “There can be no more violence and chaos in this country, wherever there is violence and chaos, we will resist it,” he added.

He said, “Inflation has reached the lowest level since 2018.” The Leagui leader said that the people have rejected the politics of disobedience and violence, false narratives are being created, politics of dead bodies is being done, adding “I want to ask why did they run away? You should have stood to confront. You were disobedient from childhood, you do civil disobedience or whatever your heart wants, it is your own will.”

Attaullah Tarar said that people want a solution to their problems, people don’t want to start a sit-in, now whatever you want, your wishes will not fulfill, you have run away. He said, “Latif Khosa talked about 278 dead bodies. Collect dead bodies from his house, Latif Khosa should rest now, his political age is over.”

Attaullah Tarar said that the country’s economy is on the right track and all the indicators are showing positive trend.
