Imran Khan says he will announce date for dissolution of Punjab & KP assemblies during party’s gathering at Liberty Chowk on 17th Dec
LAHORE, Dec 14, (SABAH): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has said that he will announce the date for the dissolution of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies during the party’s gathering at liberty chowk Lahore on 17th December, adding that he has completed his consultations regarding dissolution of two assemblies. Imran Khan has also announced that PTI members of the National Assembly will attend the NA session and confirm their resignations in front of the Speaker National Assembly Raja Parvez Ashraf, adding that after this the 70 percent Pakistan will go into the elections.
This was stated by Imran Khan addressing the nation on Wednesday, Imran Khan said that he has not seen the Chief Election Commissioner like Dr. Sikandar Sultan Raja in his whole life, adding that alleged that the Member Election Commission Sindh Nisar Ahmed Durrani is the servant of the Sindh government, adding that he is not the independent election commissioner, adding that we have approached the Supreme Judicial Council but regrettably instead of passing so much time no one is listening our case. He said that how it is possible that the Sindh government employee is impartial, who is drawing salary from them. He said that whatever CEC has done, there is only his one point agenda how to disqualify Imran Khan, adding that only CEC is pursuing the Toshakhana case against him. Imran Khan said that he is ready to give in righting today that everything he has done morally and legally correct.
Imran Khan said that he challenges that whenver Toshakhana case will be heard it will be proved that Imran Khan done nothing illegal, adding that he has not violated any law in past, today and will not do it in future also. He said that Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif have broken the law and committed dacoity in the Toshakhana.
He said that securing vehicles from the Toshakhana is banned but former president Asif Ali Zardari three precious cars and former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif secured one precious car on throw away prices, adding that why CEC is not asking question from them about it. Imran Khan said that they have approached the court against CEC, adding that the cases against Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are not being heard but he is delivering judgments against us.
Imran Khan said that if free and fair elections are not held then there will be unrest in the country. Imran Khan said that judiciary and army are players in the country, adding that if these institutions are worried about the country then they should take this country towards fair and transparent elections. Imran Khan said that there is no other solution to bring the country out of current quagmire. He said that political and economic expert from abroad could be consulted and they will tell that fist you should bring political stability while holding free and fair elections then there will be chance that the would move upward; otherwise it going downward.
Imran Khan said that criminals are sitting in power and they are not worried about the country as their wealth is stashed abroad, adding that if the rupee is devalued their wealth is increased as their money is in dollars. He said that the rulers have no interest in holding elections because they are feared of defeat and their corruption cases will surface. Imran Khan claimed that the interest of rulers and country is different and is at opposing ends, adding it is in the interest of the nation that the elections should be held immediately. Imran Khan said that he will give the date on 17th December that when we will come out of two assemblies.
