Imran Khan leveled baseless corruption allegations but could not prove anyone of them: Marriyum Aurangzeb
ISLAMABAD, May 25 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says nation has completely rejected the so-called March of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and expressed full confidence in the government.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the nation witnessed huge unemployment and inflation during the tenure of Imran Khan as Prime Minister.
She said the former Prime Minister leveled baseless corruption allegations but could not prove anyone of them.
Talking about life imprisonment of Hurriyat Leader Muhammad Yasin Malik announced by the India Court, she said the government and people of Pakistan strongly condemn the move.
The Minister called upon international community to take serious of the issue as India is committing serious human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir including lodging fake and baseless cases against Hurriyat leaders.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that government will celebrate Yaume-e-Takbeer on 28th of this month with an enthusiasm and fervor and day of journey of development.
Meanwhile Minister for Power, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan has said that the government will not re-conciliate with the fascist armed Imrani group.
Addressing a news conference flanked by Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Musadik Masood Malik in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said it is obvious stance of the government that it will not re-conciliate with those who attacked the parliament, kidnap the journalists, disgraced the Masjid-e-Nabwi and passed immoral remarks against the women in the past.
The Minister said that we will defend the constitutional and elected government and rights of the common people.
Khurram Dastgir said the Imrani group is once again hell bent to attack the federal capital, and the constitutional government by ruthlessly using the financial and law enforcement agencies resources as he did in the past in the year 2016.
He said the incumbent government, which is a broad-base and national government having representation of all the political parties will protect the fundamental rights of the people of Islamabad and the entire country while implementing the guidelines of the court’s verdict in Faizabad sit-in in February 2019.
Speaking on this occasion, Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik said there is no shortage of Petrol in the country as we have enough oil reserves.
