Imran Khan is on the agenda of destabilizing the country: Rana Sanaullah
RAWALPINDI, Feb 19 (SABAH): Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has asserted that the general elections should be held across the country at the same time.
Addressing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers’ convention in Rawalpindi on Sunday, the security czar and PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanullah Khan said his “party is fully prepared” for the elections. He added that they were not afraid of the elections.
Rana Sanaullah said that we are not afraid of the elections, adding that the PML-N is fully prepared for the elections. He said that the PML-N is present in the field for the elections, adding that the PML-N workers are fully prepared for contesting the elections. He said that the PML-N wants transparent elections, adding that Imran Khan wants to create unrest in the country, adding that Imran Khan is on the agenda of destabilizing the country. He said that Imran Khan is misguiding his workers, adding that heinous designs of Imran Khan and his cronies will be foiled.
Rana Sanaullah said that the PML-N Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif took over the country always in difficult circumstances, adding that now again Nawaz Sharif will bring out the country from the difficult circumstances.
Speaking on the occasion PML-N leader and former senior vice-president Shahid Khaqan Abbasi urged for unity ahead of the elections for the National and provincial assemblies.
“Elections for the National and provincial assemblies are nearing. We should be united ahead of it and mobilise workers and voters,” the former prime minister said while addressing the party’s organisational convention.
Shahid Khaqan added that the party must decide to ensure hard work and provide the “right candidate” in constituencies.
The PML-N stalwart hoped for his party’s win in Rawalpindi “if elections are held independently”.
“Whether national or provincial polls are held, PML-N will win. Except for rigging, the party has never lost in Rawalpindi,” he added.
He also vowed to take disheartened members of the party together. He said that the leadership of PML-N and workers are untied, adding that the PML-N sacrificed its politics for the state. He said that the coalition government is working for brining improvement in the matters of country, adding that the workers of the PML-N are hopeful of winning the elections.
