Imran Khan directs committee to bring out facts of Murree tragedy

ISLAMABAD, Jan 10 (SABAH): The Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday has directed the investigation committee formed to probe into Murree tragedy to bring out facts as soon as possible.

A meeting of government leaders and spokespersons was held under the chairmanship of the prime minister in which briefing was given on the current political situation and Murree tragedy.

The meeting also discussed matters regarding foreign funding case. Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan and State Minister Farrukh Habib briefed the meeting on the foreign funding case, while Finance Minister apprised the participants of economic situation.

Babar Awan said that the PTI provided details of its donors to the ECP and the election commission should also bring out foreign funding sources of other parties. He said that the Finance (Supplementary) Bill 2021 will be approved this week.

Spokesperson for Punjab Government Hassan Khawar apprised the meeting about Murree tradegy.
