Imposed govt will not retain itself for more than a year: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
KARACHI, Feb 22 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that imposed government will not retain itself for more than a year.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing during a reception given in honor of workers of Jamaat-e-Islami District Garbi. The reception was also addressed by Emir District Garbi Mudaser Hussain Ansari, Secretary District Abdul Hanan, Naib Emir District Khalid Zaman and others.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said those who did politics on dead bodies were imposed on Karachi while buying disgrace for themselves. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami is leading the city. Ahead of general elections in the city, Jamaat-e-Islami mandate was also snatched during the local bodies’ polls, he added.
He went on to say that they are present in the courts and will take all the snatched seats back. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami would give mayor to the city at all costs. He said that Karachi’s eighty percent vote was given to the Jamaat-e-Islami and the independent candidates. Along with its own mandate, he said that Jamaat-e-Islami is also safeguarding the vote of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
“We clearly say he who wins should be allowed to win and who loses let him lose. Giving grace marks in the intermediate exam will not solve the issue. While putting aside results of eleventh class, marks should be given according to the results of twelve class,” he remarked.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman further said that on February 24 “Jahli nataij namanzoor” rally would be held from Numaish to MA Jinnah Road. He appealed to the workers to reach Numaish in the forms of rallies and gatherings. He said that they are pursuing a case in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to obtain their rights, adding they would knock the doors of Supreme Court of Pakistan as well as protest on the roads.
