I do not receive any payment from anyone for my work in Palestine: UN Rapporteur Francesca Albanese

GAZA, Feb 02 (SABAH): United Nations Rapporteur Francesca Albanese in a tweet has said that “I do not receive any payment from anyone for my work in Palestine, not even from the United Nations…and I really enjoy what I do, you want to know why? Because I hate bullies, mafias, and apartheid. It is in my DNA, and I will fight these three elements happily until my last breath”

Francesca Albanese is the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967.

On 1 May 2022, she was appointed United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories for a three-year term. She is the first woman to hold the position.
