Hygiene kits distributed among prisoners of District Jail Faisalabad under Alkhidmat Foundation


FAISALABAD, Dec 29 (SABAH): Hygiene kits were distributed among the hundreds of prisoners of District Jail Faisalabad under the auspices of Alkhidmat Foundation in view of providing them basic health care facilities. 

In connection with distribution of hygiene kits, a special ceremony was held at the District Jail Faisalabad and participated by Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Syed Ehsanullah Waqas, district President Rai Muhammad Akram Khan Kharal, General Secretary Ali Ahmed Goraya, Deputy Superintendent Jail Muhammad Sadaqat, volunteers and others.

While addressing the ceremony, Syed Ehsanullah Waqas said that Alkhidmat Foundation under its welfare programs was continuing social services for the society including the jail prisoners. While recounting its services regarding jails, he said among others, it has been establishing medical and eye campuses, water filtration plants as well as distributing hygiene kits in this regard. 

Deputy Superintendent Jail Muhammad Sadaqat said that Alkhidmat Foundation’s services for the jails prisoners were laudable which was producing positive impacts on the prisoners. “We are grateful to Alkhidmat Foundation which is playing a vital role in transforming the prisoners as useful citizens,” he added.
