Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik’s sufferings keep continue
NEW DELHI, July 27 (SABAH): Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik is still on hunger strike on the sixth day (today) since he refused to eat anything in the jail in protest against lethargy in hearing of case against him
He is already suffering from multiple ailments, and went on a hunger strike in Tihar jail. The jail administration has put him on intravenous (IV) fluid or glucose after his health deteriorated on the other day. Then he was shifted to the hospital.
It is relevant to note here that Malik, sentenced by a special National Investigation Agency court in Delhi this year, is serving two life sentences on fake charges under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
