Hurriyat delegation congratulates Pir Ali Raza Bukhari on his appointment as permanent representative to the UN


ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (SABAH): A distinguished delegation, led by Mahmood Ahmed Saghir, Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ&K (APHC), visited the Dargah of Ali Raza Bukhari in Islamabad.

Congratulations were extended to Pir Ali Raza Bukhari on his appointment as the permanent representative to the United Nations. The APHC delegation, under the leadership of Mahmood Ahmed Saghir, included senior figures such as Syed Yousuf Nasim, Secretary-General Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Information Secretary Imtiaz Wani, Nisar Marza, Syed Ijaz Rahmani, and Nazeer Karnai. They received a warm welcome from Sajjada Nasheen Dargah Basahan Sharif Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, a former Assembly member.

During the visit, the delegation presented a bouquet of flowers to Pir Ali Raza Bukhari, expressing commendation for his appointment as the permanent representative to the United Nations on behalf of the Pakistan Council for Social Welfare and Human Rights.

The delegation conveyed hope that Pir Ali Raza Bukhari would advocate on the international stage against human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and persist in efforts for the right to self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Special prayers were also offered for the martyrs on this significant occasion.
