Hina Rabbani Khar elected as Chairperson of NA Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs

ISLAMABAD, June 26 (SABAH): Former Foreign Minister and Pakistan People’s Party leader Hina Rabbani Khar has been elected as the Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Hina Rabbani Khar was elected in the meeting of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs held on Wednesday. The Pakistan People’s Party, the government’s coalition party, succeeded in getting the chairmanship of important committees.

Ayesha Nazir proposed the name of Hina Rabbani Khar for the Chairperson and Shaista Parvez Malik seconded the name. Hina Rabbani Khar thanked the committee members for unanimously electing her the Chairperson while the Committee members congratulated Hina Rabbani Khar for being elected as the Chairperson.

Mir Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani, the leader of Pakistan People’s Party, was elected as the unanimous chairman of the Standing Committee on Communications. Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani thanked the committee members for unanimously electing him the chairman. The committee members congratulated Ejaz Hussain Jakhrani for being elected as the chairman.

Sardar Khalid Hussain Magsi of Balochistan Awami Party was elected as the chairman of the standing committee for water resources. Khalid Hussain Magsi was elected in the meeting of the Standing Committee for Water Resources. Rai Hassan Nawaz Khan proposed the name of Khalid Hussain Magsi for the chairman. The newly elected chairman thanked the committee members for unanimously electing him the chairman. The committee members congratulated Khalid Hussain Magsi for being elected as the chairman.
