Helping poor brothers & sisters & service of suffering humanity is worship indeed: Saba Saqib

LAHORE, July 17 (SABAH): Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore Saba Saqib has stated that helping poor brothers and sisters and service of suffering humanity is worship indeed. She said that Alkhidmat Foundation is frontrunner to serve the humanity in all spheres of life. She said that under Alkhidmat Foundation, sacrificial meat was distributed among more than one thousand deserving families on this recent past Eid-ul-Azha.

Saba Saqib expressed these views on Sunday while addressing the appreciation ceremony held to mark the services rendered by Alkhidmat’s volunteers. Other office-bearers of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust were present on the occasion.

“Not only Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust don’t miss the poor and needy brothers and sisters in several celebrations but leading from the front in service of humanity in each and every area of routine life, spanning from provision of ration to deserving families, employments, provision of dowry, sponsorship and nourishment of orphans, provision of health facilities to backward areas and assistance to victims of natural calamities,” she elaborated. 

Moreover, the Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust is also rendering its services relating to girls training in the areas of stitching and sewing besides various special schools are working for their education, she said. All such actions are impossible to accomplish without the selfless services of Alkhidmat’s volunteers as service of humanity is worship indeed, she added.
