Helping out quake victims of Turkiye not only an obligation but debt too: Syed Salahuddin
MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 08 (SABAH): Hizbul Mujahideen chief and United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that assisting earthquake victims was not only an obligation but it was a debt too. He said that Islamic State of Turkiye has always stood by the depressed Muslims of the world, especially Kashmiris and Palestinians.
Syed Salahuddin Ahmed expressed these views in a statement issued on Wednesday. He expressed his deep sympathies with the people affected from this ghastly quake and appealed to the all Kashmiri brethren residing abroad to make all possible efforts for providing relief to the victims.
The United Jihad Council chairman said although Kashmiris had been deprived of their properties and employments but they would lead the efforts going in earthquake-hit areas of Syria and Turkiye and added that Turkiye has always helped the Muslim world particularly Kashmiris and Palestinians during all testing times.
Syed Salahuddin prayed for the departed souls of their high status in paradise and recovery for those who injured during the ghastly earthquake. He expressed his optimism that both the states will effectively tackle this incident and God-Willing will come out of it.
