Helping out downtrodden people of society, providing them relief for needs of life is not less than worship: Zikrullah Mujahid

LAHORE, Sep 10 (SABAH): Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Zikrullah Mujahid has stated that helping out downtrodden people of the society and providing them relief for their needs of life is not less than worshipping.

Zikrullah Mujahid further stated that those who were supporting the deserving people for the will of Allah Almighty they would be given retribution on the day of resurrection.

       He expressed these views while addressing the assembly workshop of wheelchair organized under the auspices of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore. In the workshop, the volunteer women were imparted training of assembling wheelchairs as well as its fruitfulness.

Zikrullah Mujahid stated that human beings highness lies in the service of humanity and added that Alkhidmat Foundation was actively involved in fulfilling basic needs of the poor and underprivileged segments of the society belonging to each and every walk of life for bringing improvement in their lives including capacity building of women for employments, providing dowry to deserving individuals, education, health facilities, ration, sponsorship of orphans and providing assistance in case of death.

After acquiring skill of wheelchairs assembling the volunteer women would be better able to serve their sisters. Ahead of this, community service team of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan briefed in detail about assembling and significance of wheelchairs.

Incharge Community Services Uzma Muhammad Ali and General Secretary Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore Saba Saqib were also present on the occasion. Certificates were distributed among the participants as the workshop culminated.
