Hafiz Naeemur Rehman welcomes decision of SC regarding reserved seats, demands resignation of the ECP 

LAHORE, July 12 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding the reserved seats and has demanded resignation of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). 

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in his statement issued on X said that the decision of the Supreme Court has also exposed the dual standards of several political parties, adding that these parties had illegally occupied the reserved seats against the will of the people.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that in current circumstances some parties were playing on both sides of the wicket. He said that when the Supreme Court has delivered the regarding the reserved seats, the matter should not end here.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that it is the principled stance of the Jamaat-e-Islami that the judicial commission should be formed and seats should be returned to the deserving people on the basis of the Form-45.
