LAHORE, Jan 13 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has strongly criticized Elon Musk for running a persistent Islamophobic campaigns.

He stated that these efforts are part of a larger group’s agenda aimed at targeting Islam and Pakistan. In a statement shared on social media platform X, he said Musk and his associated group are linking their malicious objectives exclusively to Islam and Pakistan, which he said reflects their racist mindset.

He further criticized Musk for aligning with newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump, who has made inflammatory statements, including threats to turn Gaza into “hell.” He pointed out that Trump openly supports Israeli aggression, which continues to carry out genocide against Palestinians.

“This hypocrisy and contradiction are part of a well-organized campaign on social media to spread hatred against Islam,” the JI chief said.

He urged the British government to take immediate action to curb Islamophobic hate campaigns, calling for stronger measures against such organized efforts to fuel hatred and division.
