Hafiz Naeemur Rehman assures the Young Doctors Association of the JI full cooperation regarding their legitimate demands

LAHORE, June 21 (SABAH ): Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has assured the Young Doctors Association of the JI full cooperation regarding their legitimate demands. He appealed to the protesting doctors that their protests should not cause trouble for patients in government hospitals.

Speaking on telephone with YDA president Dr. Atif Chaudhary from Mansoorah, the JI Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed regret over the behavior of the rulers and strongly condemned the police torture on doctors and nurses.

Dr. Atif informed the JI Emir about the complete situation, thanking on assurance of cooperation.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the poor policies of the rulers led to the suffering of the people and educated classes. Farmers, workers, industrialists, doctors, teachers as well as the government employees are protesting against the government policies across the country, he said.

Dr. Atif told Hafiz Naeem that the young doctors have long been protesting for their rights. Their demands included the transparent inquiry into Sahiwal incident. He said the responsible should be brought to justice particular those who started destruction of government buildings in the name of hospitals renovation and revamping, causing tragic incidents almost on daily basis across Punjab.
He demanded the suspension of DPO and DC of Sahiwal for ordering torture on doctors and paramedics.

Meanwhile, JI Emir Hafiz Naeem, JI vice-Emir Liaqat Baloch, Secretary General Amirul Azim and Secretary Information Qaisar Shairf have expressed condolence on the demise of father of senior journalist and former secretary Lahore Press Club Abdul Majid Sajid.
