Guru Nanak is symbol of humanity, love & brotherhood: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE, Nov 15 (SABAH): The main ceremony in connection with celebrations of 555th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji is being held at Gurdwara Janamasthan in Nankana Sahib. The ceremony will conclude after Nagar Kirtan procession and final pray at night.

Meanwhile, in a statement, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, extending greetings to Sikh community across the globe, said Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji is always a symbol of humanity, love and brotherhood.

She announced that a “Minority Card” would be made functional next month for underprivileged minority brothers and sisters in Punjab.

She said that a Minority Virtual Police Station would also be established to ensure greater protection for minorities.
