Govts of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan are indifferent with issues of people: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, March 21 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliamentary leader, Liaqat Baloch has said that kacha area of River Indus which is consisted of some areas of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan is being ruled by dacoits. He said innocent people are abducted for extortion, they are fired and videos are gone viral, adding a number of families are suffering in the hands of dacoits.

Liaqat Baloch expressed condolences with trader communities of Kashmore, Guddu, Kandhkot, Jacobabad, Karampur and Sadiqabad, and with families of Ahsan Farooq and Shehzad. While talking to youth who staged protest demonstration on the occasion and media persons, he said that governments of Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan are indifferent with the issues of people and no one bothers about the masses.

Liaqat Baloch said kacha areas are being ruled by dacoits and in pakka area, there are their facilitators. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister Sind Murad Ali Shah and Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti should care about the masses, he added. He said the governments just make cosmetic measures and then the dacoits start ruling again the kacha area.

He said if the rulers cannot safeguard the masses then there is no justification of their rule, adding Jamaat-e-Islami will observe Aman March in the affected areas. He said in the elections of 2024, Jamaat-e-Islami took part according to its own strategy and policy.

Liaqat Baloch said that after the politics of coalition it was a great challenge for Jamaat-e-Islami to take part in elections with the symbol of scale and electoral manifesto. He said while putting aside all the pressure, clean and clear election drive was run, adding it is a fact that people are awaking. He said now spurious politics could not run, adding now politics of truth, facts and vision will rule.
