Govt will not allow anybody to sabotage the supremacy of courts: Farrukh Habib
FAISALABAD, Jan 30 (SABAH): Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib says Prime Minister Imran Khan’s efforts against Islamophobia at International level had started yielding results.
In a tweet, he lauded Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for condemning Islamophobia and expressing plan to appoint a special representative to combat the scourge. He said earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had called for delinking freedom of expression with blasphemy.
Meanwhile, talking to media in Faisalabad, Minister of State for Information said judiciary enjoys complete freedom in Pakistan, and the government will not allow anybody to sabotage the supremacy of courts.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan will soon visit Faisalabad to launch Insaf Health Card scheme in this city, and the panel hospitals identified by the government will provide health facilities to the card holders.
Responding to a question about opposition long march, the Minister said that the government has no threat and fear of the opposition.
