Govt taking pragmatic steps for prosperity of common man under leadership of PM Imran Khan: Shafqat Mahmood
LAHORE, Dec 26 (SABAH): Minister for Federal Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture Shafqat Mahmood and new President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Shafqat Mahmood says the government is taking pragmatic steps for prosperity of common man under the leadership of Prime Minster Imran Khan.
He was talking to Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in Lahore on Sunday. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Shafqat Mahmood suggested the opposition parties to wait for the next elections instead of coming to roads for protest against the government.
Both the leaders expressed determination that ruling PTI government will complete its five-year tenure and general elections will be held in 2023.
The governor Punjab also extended congratulations to Shafqat Mahmood for becoming new party president for Punjab.
Chaudhry Sarwar lauded the services and role of Shafqat Mahmood for implementation of uniform syllabus across the country.
During the meeting, the Federal Minister and Governor Punjab expressed concern over growing atrocities against minorities in India.
