Govt of Pakistan & people stand by Palestinian brothers & sisters & will continue supporting them: Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman
RAWALPINDI, Feb 13 (SABAH): Under Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, a six cargo consisting of 105 tons of aid assistance for Gaza victims has reached Egypt.
Aid luggage reached El Arish Airport Egypt from Karachi Airport through a special flight which afterwards would be transported to Gaza through Rafah.
During the event of departure of aid luggage to victims of Gaza, Palestine Ambassador to Pakistan Ahmad Rabaie, President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Vice President Ijazullah Khan, Manzir Aalam from Karachi, office-bearers and officials of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) were present.
President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that Alkhidmat with the cooperation of NDMA and Pakistan Air Force has sent 45 ton prepared ration, 30 ton tents, 25 ton medicines and 5 ton blankets for Gaza victims. He further said that Alkhidmat Foundation with the cooperation Pakistan Navy will send 400 ton aid luggage for Gaza victims.
Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman said that the government of Pakistan and people stand by Palestinian brothers and sisters and will continue supporting them. Ambassador of Palestine to Pakistan appreciated and thanked Pakistanis for aid activities.
