Govt monitoring the prices of essential items on a daily basis: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb

LAHORE, April 12 (SABAH): Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb says the government is working tirelessly for strengthening the country’s economy, which is heading in the right direction. He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will announce further relief in next few months. He said that industrial progress results in the progress of country, adding that we have to jointly work for industrial development, adding that we are working for the economic stability in the country.

Addressing a meeting at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lahore on (Saturday) Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that he is well aware about the problems facing by the chambers, adding that we will try to resolve the difficulties and reasonable demands of the chambers will be accepted. He said that the problems of the businessmen will be resolved on priority basis.

Muhammad Aurangzeb said price hike and policy interest rates have significantly decreased and our main aim is to provide relief to common man. He said that the decrease in the price hike benefits the common man.

He said government is monitoring the prices of essential items on a daily basis. Finance Minister said traders play a key role in country’s progress and measures are being taken to solve their issues on priority basis.
