Ghulam Muhammad Safi announces to carryout rally in Karachi on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani
KARACHI, July 06 (SABAH): All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir and Pakistan Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi has announced to carryout rally in Karachi on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani. He said that the rally will be carried out from Arts Council to Karachi Press Club, adding that through this rally we will tell the world that we are united. Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that we will not accept any solution of Kashmir issue which will be against the will of the Kashmiris. He said that the Kashmir issue should be resolved through plebiscite under the United Nations Organization (UNO). Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that we are in contact with all political and social organizations. He said that if there would have been no Kashmir dispute between the two countries, the country would have not been facing current problems. He said that if there will be any war between Pakistan and India it will be due to the Kashmir dispute. He said that if the Kashmir dispute is resolved the circumstances of Pakistan will also be improved.
While addressing a press conference along with other Hurriyat leaders in at Karachi Press Club on Saturday, Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that it is the desire of the Hurriyat conference that all the religious and political parties should participate in the rally. He said that eight years ago youth Kashmiri media activist Burhan Muzaffar Wani was martyred by the Indian forces.
Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that Burhan Muzaffar Wani while remaining in Jammu and Kashmir had not crossed the ceasefire line instead of this he exposed the ugly face of India on the social media. He said that the martyrdom of Burhan Muzaffar Wani proved more fatal for India.
Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that he is from occupied Kashmir, adding that many years ago they had organized the speech of late APHC Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani and now he is not alive.
Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that the movement is continued at armed and political level, adding that the movement is also continued at the OIC and diplomatic level. He said that India wants to declare this movement as terrorism movement but all Indian attempts have failed. He said that India wants to stop movement through threats. He said that there is no doubt that a lot of sacrifices have been presented, adding that it is the courage of the people of Jammu and Kashmir that they are continuing the struggle.
Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that Narendra Modi conducted elections in the presence of one million army in occupied Kashmir, adding that the people voted for those who are in jails like Engineer Rashid, adding that Muhammad Yasin Malik, Asia Andrabi, Fehmida Sofi and hundreds others are in notorious jail. Ghulam Muhammad Safi said that our hundreds and thousands of people have been martyred; yet the movement is continued at every front.
