Funeral prayers of Sepoy Basit Ali Shaheed & Sepoy Waqas Ali Shah Shaheed offered at their respective hometowns

RAWALPINDI, April 27 (SABAH): Funeral prayers of Sepoy Basit Ali Shaheed (age 24, resident of Peshawar) and Sepoy Waqas Ali Shah Shaheed (age 26, resident of Charsadda) who embraced shahadat during an exchange of fire between Security Forces and terrorists in general area Tirah, Khyber District on 25 April 2023 were offered at their respective hometowns. Both Shaheeds were laid to rest with full military honours.

According to a statement issued by the ISPR, a large number of serving/ retired military & civil officials, relatives and people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayers.

Armed Forces of Pakistan remain committed to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from every corner of the motherland. These sacrifices of our comrades only strengthen our resolve to eliminate this menace, InshaAllah.
