FS Sohail Mahmood to lead the walk starting from FO to express solidarity with people of IIOJK to mark Youm-e-Istehsal tomorrow
ISLAMABAD, August 04 (SABAH): Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood will lead the walk starting from the Foreign Office to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) to mark Youm-e-Istehsal tomorrow (Friday) on the occasion of the third anniversary of India’s illegal and unilateral actions of 5 August 2019.
According to the invitation issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Youm-e-Istehsal walk will be carried out tomorrow (Friday) on August 5, 2022). The walk will start from Ministry of Foreign Affairs to mark Youm-e-Istehsal.

The people and media have been asked to gather at MoFA at 8:00 AM, at 8:20 AM: Kashmir Song live performance by Zahid Zaman, at 8:25 AM: Arrival of Principals, at 8:30 AM: Walk towards D-Chowk, at 8:45 AM: Participants to assemble at main gate of Parliament House, at
8:55 AM: Arrival of dignitaries, at 9:00 AM: One minute silence followed by Presentation of Special Memento by the Foreign Secretary and Speeches by dignitaries.
