Freedom movement will reach its goal: Farooq Rehmani
ISLAMABAD, July 07 (SABAH): In commemoration of the week of martyrdom, the Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement here on Thursday, paid glowing tributes to Burhan Muzzaffar Wani, whose great sacrifices and innovative way of struggle showed a path of glory to millions of kashmiris who are fighting in odd circumstances India’s military occupation and oppression in length and breadth of Kashmir.
On this occasion Muhammad Farooq Rehmani also paid rich tributes to hundreds thousands of youth including women who sacrificed their precious lives for the national cause of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said every martyr of Kashmir and concept of martyrdom was a great source of strength to the nation and the occupying Indian government of Modi was drowned in frustration and fighting a war of defeat with its modern and sophisticated war machinery against a brave , determined and peaceful people in Asia’s paradise. He warned India against her maneuverings to change the demography, culture and nomenclature of the Muslim majority saying that India will not be able to stand before the will of the people whose love for their civilization and independence is unparalleled.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani strongly condemned repressive measures of the Modi regime to kill and arrest innocent people and keep them in jails for life or decades and urged on all world powers to force India to withdraw its troops from the State and grant the people the right of self-determination as promised by the United Nations.
