Free medical camp set up in underprivileged population of Lahore under Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust

LAHORE, June 2 (SABAH): Under Alkhidmat Foundation Women’s Wing Trust Lahore, a team of expert doctors from various fields set up a free medical camp in the underprivileged population and along with examining the patients, they also provided them with free medicines. According to the details, gynecologist, liver and stomach, general physicians and ophthalmologist were included in the team.

They examined hundreds of patients in Stokatla, the most backward area of Lahore, which included a large number of patients of liver, stomach and gynecology. Apart from providing free medicines to women and children, some patients were also referred to the hospital. The doctors also guided the patients regarding prevention from the severe heat.

On this occasion, Saba Saqib, Secretary General of Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Pakistan and other officials including Kiran Mubashir, incharge of health services, Ghazala Siddiqui, deputy department of organization, central Punjab, Nasir Mahmood and Younis Gujar were also present. Saba Saqib said that a free medical camp was specially organized in the backward area in view of the intense heat to provide treatment to women and innocent children at their doorstep.

She said free medical camps will be organized in the future as well on insistence of notables of the area and the people. She said that in the free medical camp, hundreds of women and children were examined by gynecologists, eye specialists and general physicians and thanked Alkhidmat Foundation Women’s Wing Trust.
