Form 45 is the expression of the original public mandate: Liaqat Baloch

KARACHI, May 30 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh Emir Muhammad Hussain Mehnti, Karachi Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Munim Zafar, Sindh Nationalist Party leaders Ayaz Latif Plaju, Gulzar Masroor, Jagdish Kar and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam central leader Maulana Abdul Karim Abid held meeting with Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Naib Emir Liaqat Baloch in Karachi.

On this occasion, Liaqat Baloch said that the entire country is suffering from lawlessness, violation of the constitution and worst economic crisis. He said the poison of anarchy is spreading from within due to mistrust and insecurity. He said the judiciary is under the worst pressure in history and the unconstitutional conflict of politics, judiciary, government and civil-military establishment in the country is terrible for politics, democracy, parliament and people’s rights. 

He said the risks of future unconstitutional adventure are increasing. All institutions, policy makers and rulers, powerful institutions have to give up their personal desires, lust for supremacy and accept these limits, otherwise they will face great losses, he added.  He said that the Pakistan Army is making great sacrifices for national security, but due to its political role, the public’s love and devotion to the Pakistan Army is weakening.

Liaqat Baloch said that political instability is increasing due to political and economic crisis. Tensions between the federation and the provinces have become dangerous for national security, he said and added the change of election results of February 8, 2024 has brought the politics to the weakest level of unpopularity. Form 45 is the expression of the original public mandate, he added.

He said the establishment and its facilitators have trampled the public mandate in their lust for power. If the attitude of non-recognition of the people’s mandate continues like this, then this scandal of unrest, lawlessness and power politics in the country will destroy the country, he added.

Liaqat Baloch, after meeting with the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, said that the Gaza Million March under the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in Karachi on June 2 will be an example and a historical one. He said that Israel has trampled cease-fire decision of the International Court of Justice; innocent people are being killed; the leadership of the United Nations and the world of Islam remain silent spectators with criminal negligence.
