FM Bilawal, Antony Blinken discuss matters of mutual interest


NEW YORK, May 18 (SABAH): Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a meeting with his US counterpart Antony Blinken in New York on Wednesday.

Matters pertaining to mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.

In a statement issued by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on twitter on Wednesday said that he had a very productive meeting with Secretary Blinken in New York. Bilawal Bhutto said that we reaffirmed the importance of the 75th anniversary of Pakistan and United States relations and mutual commitment to strengthen broad based and comprehensive Pakistan and US ties.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he had in-depth discussions on issues impacting regional peace and security including Afghanistan. Resolved to work together to meet the challenges of food and energy security between Pakistan and United States.
