LAHORE, Oct 22 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that five labourers were martyred mercilessly in Turbat, adding that this regrettable incident should be condemned in strongest possible terms. He said that it is a matter of surprise that where is government and administration? Sirajul Haq said that if 21st October could be allocated for one family then I think 22nd November should be named after these martyrs. He said that these laborers are going to Balochistan from a long time from Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for earning livelihood, adding that these labourers did not go there for committing any dacoity or theft. He said that coming dead bodies of the innocent labourers is suppression. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami wants peace in Balochistan and whole country; we will raise voice against this suppression with full force. He said that the government of Balochistan should immediately provide justice to these families.
This was stated by Sirajul Haq while talking to the heirs of the martyred labourers belonging to Shujabad after offering condolences. On the occasion Emir JI South Punjab Rao Zafar and District Emir JI Multan Dr. Safdar Hashmi were also present.
Sirajul Haq said that it is matter of surprise that prime minister, chief minister and government did not visit the affected families because they are poor people. He said that caretaker prime minister, chief justice of Pakistan and chairman senate all belong to Balochistan, adding that the way they are living in Islamabad with respect and protocol, the people living in Balochistan and other provinces of the country also enjoy the right to live respectfully.
Sirajul Haq reached Shujabad sub-district of Multan prior to leaving for two-day visit of Sindh and offered condolences with the heirs of the martyred labourers. While talking to journalists and people of the area present on the occasion, Sirajul Haq said that now this suppression should be stopped, adding that JI wants peace in the country.
