‘Fitna’ of Imran Khan will be exposed in next few months: Khurram Dastgir

GUJRANWALA, Sep 11 (SABAH): Federal Minister for Energy Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan says the flood affected power transmission system has been fully restored across the country. He said that the “fitna” of Imran Khan will be exposed in next few months. He said that all the matters due to which the Pakistani nation is in pain has the stamp affixed by Imran Khan. He said that there is stamp of Imran Khan on the electricity bills. He said that the enemies of Pakistan’s progress and freedom could never lead us. He said that the Punjab government has not money for the help of the flood affectees but it has issued tender for the purchase of 40 vehicles costing Rs 300 million. He said that in the result of the system devised by government the fuel adjustment charge will become nominal in the electricity bills after month of October.

Addressing a news conference in Gujranwala on Sunday, Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan said the transmission system was badly damaged by the unprecedented floods, as power poles were washed away in some areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Replying to a question, the Minister said load shedding has been controlled during summer by running all power plants in the country.  He said the oil and power prices are likely to decrease from next month which will also help to lower prices of other items.

Khurram Dastagir said the difficult time has been passed and now economic conditions will improve gradually. He said this is the time to help the flood affectees rather than doing politics.

Khurram Dastagir said we have saved the country from default and did not allow shortage of petrol even for a single day in country. He said PM Shehbaz Sharif has given relief to 74 percent electricity consumers for the month of August in form of fuel adjustment charge. He said Imran Khan is used to only level allegations and we are resolving the problems of people.
