First round of talks between govt & Jamaat-e-Islami will take place today
RAWALPINDI, July 28 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami’s sit-in against inflation in Liaqat Bagh of Rawalpindi has entered its third day. Today negotiation will be done between Jamaat-e-Islami and the government negotiation committee.
Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman announced the negotiation committee during the press conference. Jamaat-e-Islami formed a 4-member negotiation team consisting of Liaqat Baloch, Ameer-ul-Azeem, Syed Farast Shah and Nasrullah Randhawa.
The negotiating team includes Deputy Amir Liaquat Baloch, Amir-ul-Azeem, while the government committee includes Engineer Amir Maqam, Atta Tarrawar, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
In the negotiation team, Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch and Ameerul Azeem are included while in the government committee Engr. Amir Muqam, Ata Tarar and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry are included.
