Finalizing comprehensive plan: PTI starts protest drive against back-breaking inflation, sinking economy tomorrow


ISLAMABAD, Dec 30 (SABAH): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) finalized a well-conceived strategy to launch protest movement in major cities across the country against the back-breaking inflation and sinking economy, which would be commenced from tomorrow (Saturday).

The public miseries were increasing with each passing day due to flawed economic policies of the inapt imported government. As per the set plan, the PTI would start its massive protest rally drive against skyrocketing inflation from Gujranwala on December 31, which would be culminated in Sialkot on January 16.

On January 1, major protest rallies would be taken out in Lahore from Azadi Chowk to Choburji Chowk, Multan, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad against increase in prices of daily use commodities at breakneck speed.

Similarly, on January 2, a massive protest rally against unbridled price hike would be held in Shahr-e-Iqbal, Sialkot. Likewise, PTI would hold protest rally in Attock on January 3. As per the set plan, on January 4 and 5, protest demonstrations against inflation and dwindling economy would be held in Jhelum.

On January 6, PTI would hold protest demonstration in DG Khan and on January 7 in Sheikhupura. On January 8, a protest rally against inflation would be organized from Thokar Niaz Baig to Chungi Ferozepur Road in Lahore and similar protest demonstrations would also be held in Multan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi on the same day.

According to the schedule plan, protest demonstration would be held in Sialkot on January 9 and in Gujarat on January 10 against the imported government for compounding the public miseries manifolds.

Moreover, anti-inflation protests would be held in Jhelum on January 11, Gujranwala on January 12, Sahiwal on January 13 and Bahawalpur on January 14. Massive protest demonstrations would be held in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi on January 15.

According to the pan, the last protest demonstration against the inflation would be held in Sialkot on January 16. A large number of people would participate in the protests against inflation across the country.
