Federal Insurance Ombudsman performing excellently to address issues faced by insurance policy holders: President Alvi

 KARACHI, Nov 13 (SABAH): President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the Federal Insurance Ombudsman is performing excellently to address the issues faced by the insurance policy holders.

He was addressing a seminar on the importance of Transparency in the insurance sector in Karachi on Saturday. The President said various segments of society are working for the betterment and welfare of the people.

Highlighting the performance of the ombudsman, President Dr. Arif Alvi said the ombudsman is also solving the issues of people like ‘Panchayet’.

He further said the trust of the citizens is now being restored on the ombudsman and five organizations of ombudsman including Insurance, Banking, Tax and Protection Against Harassment of Women at Workplace are working in the country to facilitate the masses.

The President stressed that the scope of insurance needed to be extended to the agriculture sector.
