Federal Govt gives the highest importance to remove sense of deprivation from Balochistan: President Alvi
QUETTA, Nov 15 (SABAH): President Dr. Arif Alvi has said the Federal Government gives the highest importance to remove the sense of deprivation from Balochistan.
Chairing a meeting regarding rehabilitation of special persons at Governor House in Quetta on Monday, he said it is necessary to make special persons useful citizens of the society.
President Dr. Arif Alvi added that we need to train the people with disabilities so that they can take part in the development of the country. He said we are committed to provide additional funds for the development of Balochistan.
First Lady Begum Samina Arif Alvi, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha and Representative of WHO Miryam Malik also attended the meeting.
Meanwhile Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha and Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo called on President Dr. Arif Alvi at Governor House in Quetta on Monday.
During the meeting, they discussed important political and administrative matters, including issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the president was also briefed about the law and order situation and ongoing development projects in the province.
The President will also attend various functions regarding women empowerment and awareness about breast cancer.
