Fawad says a major action has been initiated against fake news & propaganda

ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says a major action has been initiated against fake news and propaganda, and more arrests would be carried out in this regard.

In a tweet on Friday, he said that 32 members of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan have been arrested in an action. The Information Minister said these people were carrying out hateful propaganda through fake social media accounts.

Meanwhile Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has felicitated the newly elected office bearers of Supreme Court Bar Association. In a tweet on Friday, he hoped the new President of the Supreme Court Bar Association will restore the separate and independent identity of the Bar.
