Fawad Hasan Fawad says he was devastated & deeply concerned at the loss of innocent lives in occupied Palestinian territories

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (SABAH): Caretaker Minister for Privatization Fawad Hasan Fawad has said that he was devastated and deeply concerned at the loss of innocent lives in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a statement issued on twitter on Wednesday, Fawad Hassan Fawad said that this serves as a reminder to the comity of nations of illegal foreign occupation, aggression and disrespect for the rule of law and resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

He said that 16+ years blockade of Gaza raises concerns over the applicability international law, and the endurance of fundamental freedoms of innocent civilians.

He said that the efforts to normalise and perpetuate foreign occupation have been the root cause of the violence. We must implement the decision of the UNSC on the creation of an independent Palestinian state. We must ensure the right to self determination for the Palestinians and bring about a two state solution on the borders of June 1967.

Fawad Hassan Fawad said that rhe world can’t close its eyes to murder of innocent civilians, the desecration of corpses, the taking of children as hostages and the celebration of mass murder. This must end NOW.
