Fascist & anarchist Imran Khan does not deserve any kind of relief from the courts: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD, May 11 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb has strongly denounced the anarchic reaction of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to the arrest of Imran Khan.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said Imran Khan’s arrest was in total compliance with law, but under a pre-planned conspiracy, PTI sent armed miscreants at assigned places to create turmoil.  

The Minister said the violent mobs have not spared mosques, schools, historic buildings and memorials of our war heroes, and even military, government and private installations including Radio Pakistan building in Peshawar.

She said this violent mindset of PTI needs to be reined in; otherwise it will continue wreaking havocs on the country. 

Marriyum Aurangzeb said political parties keep their struggles political and do not get violent to impose their will.             

She said everyone is accountable before the law and no one can consider himself above it. The Minister said fascist and anarchist Imran Khan does not deserve any kind of relief from the courts. She said that if the court will give license to kill to Imran Khan then it has to give the license to kill to 220 million people. She said that it is the first physical remand in the history of the NAB in which the appeal of the accused has been fixed for hearing within 48 hours.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that if the fastest relief will be provided to Imran Khan then Mr Chief Justice you, I and 220 million people will not remain safe from his evil. She said that giving relief to this terrorist and enemy of the country will be tantamount to encouraging the terrorists. She said that if this all will happen then courts, police stations and institutions should be shut and corruption should be legalized.
