Farooq Rehmani strongly castigates India’s settler, colonial moves to register Indian citizens as voters in J&K
ISLAMABAD, August 18 (SABAH): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League, has strongly castigated India’s settler, colonial moves to register Indian citizens as voters in Jammu and Kashmir and a dangerous campaign to demolish houses of Kashmiris to settle Indians in the illegally Occupied State.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani accused Indian Modi regime of flouting the International law, UN resolutions and Pakistan-India agreements, besides over half a century old commitments with the people of Jammu and Kashmir to keep in tact their century old state residential rights and demographic complexion.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani urged on the UN leadership to take cognizance of the Indian formidable steps and serious violation in the illegally Occupied State and convene a meeting of all the Stake holders and affected region and prevent India from changing the historical character of Jammu and Kashmir illegally Occupied by it for 75 years.
