Farooq Rehmani strongly castigates India’s ruling establishment in J&K for banning Falah-e-Aam Trust Kashmir
ISLAMABAD, June 16 (SABAH): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League and out-going Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has strongly castigated India’s ruling establishment in Jammu and Kashmir for banning Falah-e-Aam Trust Kashmir, an old educational and philanthropic institution, imparting religious, moral and scientific education to over one hundred thousand students in the IIOJ&K for the last half a century.
He expressed shock over the draconian and uncalled for shock over India’s blatant interference in public welfare activities in the State which would ruin educational future of the Kashmiri students and their families without any doubt. He hailed equal gloom over the illegal action of the UT regime, by the Amnesty International hoping that the UN Council of Human Rights and other international humanitarian organisation would censure India for it and compel the unbridled Hindu nationalist regime of PM Modi to withdraw the prohibitory order against the Falah-e-Aam Trust J&K.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani e mailed a letter to the Geneva Council of HRs over police and paratroopers’ crackdown a bloody encounter in Kulgam and during an another operation in Baramulla, house of an innocent civilian ZuhoorAhmad Mala s/o Bashir Ahmad Mala R/ Baramulla Mir Sahib old town was raided, who is already under trial in Udhampore jail under NDP charges. The police also raided house of Merajdin Butt S/O Ghulam Muhammad Butt of Hyder Mohalla Khoja Bagh Baramulla. He is a government employee in the lower Jhelum project and the UT authorities are acting upon the illegal actions to dismiss Kashmiris from their services only to be replaced by the non-resident Indians from outside Kashmir.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that there were valid grounds behind the threats that India under RSS led BJP had a fool- proof plan to liquidate Muslim majority of J&K within next few years and at the same time the Modi government had launched a rigorous plan against the Indian Muslims to lynching and pushing them to Pakistan and create a Hindu India led by RSS. He said that under the circumstances it was obligatory on the UN to adopt a solid resolution and deploy missions and military and political observers for the safety and security of minorities especially Muslims in India. It must be noted that neither the Kashmir dispute nor the safety of 25 crore Indian Muslims is an internal issue of India.
India must be warned about grave consequences in the aftermath of the Muslim-massacre in India and demographic changes in the Muslim majority State of Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani emphasised.
