Farooq Rehmani pays rich tributes paid to renowned freedom fighter Abdul Khaliq Ghanai
ISLAMABAD, Dec 15 (SABAH): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman J&K People’s Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK, has paid glowing tributes to Abdul Khaliq Ghanai @ Jamal Afghani a leading Freedom fighter of 1990s uprising in Jammu and Kashmir, who was martyred on December , 1993 by Indian troops in custody.
He played a leading role in the cause of the freedom in 1970s and 1990s to serve the cause of uprising against the forcible and illegal occupation of J&K by India. He was a dedicated leader and freedom fighter of Kashmir.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said, “The sacrifices of the freedom fighters will not go in vain and there will be a sun-set of freedom in J&K “. He also hailed the sacrifices of all others for the cause of freedom and urged on the world leaders to put pressure on India for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir in accordance with the principles of the right of self-determination and the relevant UN resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani also urged the world leaders to withdraw the campaign of Hinduvising the Indian Muslims and the Kashmiri Muslims by singing and seizing and demolishing their properties and mosques and erecting temples to change the culture and demography of the Indian Muslims and make the illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir a predominant Hindutva State against the Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Manifesto.
