Farooq Rehmani Condemns termination orders & sealing of Jamia Masjid

ISLAMABAD, Nov 25 (SABAH): Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ&K Chapter, while condemning termination orders from services of 4 government employees and sealing Jamia Masjid Srinagar for Friday prayers with continuation of the house detention of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on the 7th consecutive Friday with malicious racist designs, urged on the international human rights organisations and United Nations Secretary General Gutteras to take notice of how India is violating and trampling basic human and political as well as economic rights of a nation, taking benefit of ignited conflicts in Mid East and Europe.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that the present Indian government headed by BJP’s Modi was a religious fascist regime that had drunk fanaticism against the Muslims, other minorities and against the Kashmiris, and it wanted to change the demography of the State by distributing millions of illegal domiciles certificates among non State people of the Indian States. He observed that the Indian authorities have been running an illicit campaign across the usurped region for giving jobs to Indian officials and employees, while the local Kashmiri employees are being sacked. In this connection, he quoted an example of 4 Kashmiris who were terminated from their service on concocted links with “terrorists”, but without any enquiry. Their names are: 1.Dr Nisarul Hassan Asst professor SMC 2 Constable Abdul Majeed Butt 3 Abdul Salam Rather laboratory bearer Higher Education and 4 th Farooq Ahmad Mir a teacher her in the education department . He said that the BJP led establishment had dismissed a number of Kashmirs from their services. The regime has taken mad steps of seizing 500 properties of the Kashmiris without any justification to harass them and starve the families with poverty–most inhuman method of crushing the popular voice of freedom. The nefarious design behind this campaign is to cut resources of the people and make them poor, he said.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, referred to the serious issue of banning Friday congregational prayer and Friday sermon by Mirwsiz Umar Farooq in the mosque and said Indian RSS/BJP had no roots in Kashmir while people of J&K hated it and its hateful ideology from day, so it may think it easy to change the cultural status and demography to suit its venomous propaganda. But , Indian leaders couldn’t change the principle political faith in the last 76 years, how the RSS mythology will be change it or break the hard Kashmiri nut, is their pipe dream. He said for India there was no alternative but to accept the reality and resolve the Kashmir dispute according to the relevant UN resolutions at the earliest.
