Farida Bahenji appeals Kashmiris to observe Black Day on October 27
SRINAGAR, Oct 26 (SABAH): Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, Farida Bahenji has appealed to Kashmiris living on both sides of Line of Control and worldwide, to observe Black Day on October, 27, to make it clear to the international community once again that Kashmiris do not accept the oppressive and illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India. Contrary to the wishes of Kashmiris, India has illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir through military force, Farida Behnji says in her statement on the occasion of October 27, the Black Day of Kashmir.
She said that October 27 is the darkest day in the history of Kashmir when on this day in 1947, India violated the United Nations Charter and entered in Kashmir by illegally invading Jammu and Kashmir and from that day to this day, India is illegally occupying Kashmir and continues to massacre and brutalize Kashmiris to prolong its oppressive occupation.
APHC senior leader said that October 27 is the most tragic day in the history of Kashmir because On this day in 1947, India used military force to rob Kashmiris of all the basic rights guaranteed by the UN Charter. She urged Kashmiris living all over the world to hold protests in front of Indian embassies, United Nations offices and historical places to draw the attention of the international community to the Indian state terrorism in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and make it clear to the world that Kashmiris do not accept India’s illegal and oppressive occupation of Kashmir.
Farida said that Kashmir is a disputed area which is yet to be resolved according to the resolutions of the United Nations and as per wishes of Kashmiri people. The fascist Indian government led by Modi by using various tactics and nefarious plans, is bent on exterminating all Kashmiri Muslims and turning the occupied territory into a Hindu majority region, she added.
Chairperson of Mass Movement said that India has adopted the Israeli policy in Kashmir and Outsiders are being settled in the area to turn the Muslim majority into a minority.
Farida Bahenji expressed his determination that with the eternal sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, India will have to leave Kashmir soon and the day is not far when the great sacrifices of Kashmiris will pay off and Kashmiris will get freedom from the illegal occupation of India.
